So,
The Arma 3 sessions over the last two weekends has been a ton of fun. While I could keep playing those two dynamic campaigns happily, I'm wondering if we're missing out on some others that might be fun for single squad of 3 players situations.

Or more of someone else would like to join in. The damn game has been down to 30 bucks twice now. :)

Maybe we should all take a look at the Steam Workshop scenarios this week and see if there's a new one that we'd like to try?

There are some good ones out there, for sure. Some require mods, some don't. Some that you and I have tried have caused issues with multi-player in the past. But, I'm game to give some a go.

This was good for a chuckle.... This battle was raging - Neither of us brought sachels. My squad fought to the comm tower and had it secured. Two truck loads of enemy reinforcements showed up, and the damaged buildings around the tower became our Alamo. It was a great fight. Then, suddenly I hear a helicopter. DR is rolling in with a gunship! I mark with smoke and he makes 2 passes over the target and just wipes out the majority of the enemy troops. What's left of my squad finishes mopping them up. But with no sachels, we withdraw to the ridgeline to the south of the objective. DR returns to base and rearms and comes back for more... and misses the target area by a couple hundred yards, flying over a ZSU, and it chews him to bits.

We both return to the objective area with full squads and after another 30 minutes of contact, clear the objective and destroy the comms tower. One of the best ARMA engagements I've been in. Mostly because I lived through the whole thing. Wish I would have fraps'd more of it.

yeah, losing my waypoint to that target threw everything off.

But it was fun.

I'll be on to play tonight around 6pm, I suspect.

Probably won't be around much tonight sadly... but tomorrow is a different story. I should be around a fair amount of the morning/day.

Well,
It may have been on Saturday, rather then Friday, but that was quite a bit of fun.

I will be under the knife Friday morning.... but if I'm lucid enough I'm up for some shooting Friday night.... Heck, maybe it'll be more fun if I'm not lucid enough.... either way, I'm not going back to work until Wed or Thursday, so... Lots of shooting to be done.
