Shadow Cities

it doesn't look to be available on the American ITunes store yet, but once it comes out, Shadow Cities looks like it will be a fun one.

Shadow Cities released.

It's free, and it's kind of fun.

There aren't alot of people here in my town playing it, yet, so that's 1 aspect that I'm missing out on, that might correct over time, but some of you in larger cities might be able to get right into it.

I went with the techomage (or whatever) side.

I can't seem to get Sir Lucien to show up when I do a friends search.

I'm also on the Architects side. See if you can add Sethanon when you get a chance.

Oddly enough, even out here in rural Washington, I saw two enemy mages sneaking around on the other side of the lake last night. The game might have some legs.

It looks to be Case sensitive on the searching.

And w/out the space between Sir and Lucien, I'm guessing.

I'm well on the way to becoming the shadow lord of my town.

I hit level 6 and was able to throw up a Beacon which the folks from Seattle happily jumped on to help me clean up the place a bit. I assume that means that folks from Kalamazoo, or wherever, could do so as well. And vice versa.

I did make the mistake of placing my doms too far away from me (I have them, and a beacon near one of the Moses Lake gateways) to harvest. So there's a technical piece that I'm missing. I thougth I wanted Doms near the gateway to defend it, but maybe you don't need them anymore once the gateway goes friendly which this has.

Anyhow, it's been fun, so far.

I will say this about Shadow Cities.

It can sure chew up a battery.

For a game that doesn't seem like it's overly using the graphics capabilities of my phone, it draws power like nothing else.
