Haha! So it was quite the suck... There I was plinking at the occasional zed when suddenly I was surrounded by them. I fired as fast as I could, then heard the sickening sound of my bones breaking. Laying on the ground I continued to fire... until my magazine was empty... they just kept coming... I attempted to reload, but the world went black... (and hourglassy shaped)... last thing I remember seeing was a horde of em pulling at my flesh... and then blackness...


Yep... I died lol.
I want a peaceful soul, but I need a bigger gun

Oh.. and no, I didn't think to look for the UH-1 while I was up there. But that's pretty low down on the vehicles that would be fun to repair and use, at the moment.

At least until Andy is ready to test fly it for us... while we watch.... from the ground.


I could always crash land on yall.

I'm not sure if this will soften the blow of losing your kit like that, but I did get a M107 with 3 clips off the latest helicopter to crash near our base.

It's all good. I'll be on tomorrow scouting for more vehicle parts.

Oh yeah.

I thought I had posted about it already.

I was out at the barracks at the N/W airfield and I got into a scrap. I was bleeding, dizzy from pain, low on health. So, I hit a bandage, painkillers and some cooked meat. And the bandage cancelled somewhere in that order. And just as I noticed that, about 3 or 4 solders came out of the barracks so I snuck around the back of the building before the barracks and got knocked the hell out when I tried to bandage by a zombie that spotted me from one of the industrials.

Snuck into the closest town near the beach I woke up on and snagged a second old bike. So now there are two.

Nice. I almost have that other UAZ ready to go, just need a little more scrap metal and fuel tank parts.
That'll be one of my projects for tomorrow, between saving the world from aliens (X-COM) and conquering it (Civ 5). Love days off :)
