Hardware Device

Hardware Device

I wanted to get a single solution for console and PC recording so I ordered this today.

http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/ ... aming.html

It should allow me to record GTA V (and eventually Watch Dogs and The Division) videos on the console, and also record PC gaming for the YouTube channel. If I can remember the account info... it's been a while.

With what only can be a stroke of good luck, my company has asked me to produce training videos of our software for an upcoming user conference and for a future product release. They have purchased Camtasia Studio 8, which I now have access to.

The thing I have been trying to get off the ground, just became part of my job description.

This must be a sign from the gaming gods that I should keep pushing for better video and audio quality, and finally get these youtube channels clicking.

Camtasia is awesome. Techsmith is a great company and they are headquartered right here in Michigan.

Trever and I played around with the device a bit last night.
It exports to MP-4, which is kind of large. However, since I plan to do VO and edits with Sony Vegas, I can cut the size down a bunch when I export it there.
